Toyota Prius Recall Spreads

Japanese manufacturer Toyota is reeling with the latest problem to affect their company. The latest model of the Prius could be recalled in Britain with concerns about the brakes. This is another embarrassing episode for Toyota which prides itself on safety, and follows closely on the recent concern over faulty accelerator pedals on some of their other models. The recall has already occurred in Japan, the US and Australia. Drivers have reported that in certain driving conditions, like slippery roads, or hitting pot holes or bumps, they experience momentary brake failure. Toyota insists that the software problem doesn’t make the cars dangerous.
