The Fiat Bravo, a family 3 door hatchback, and the Brava, a 5 door version, were produced from 1995 to 2001. They were replaced by the Fiat Stilo, which didn't prove to be nearly as popular, so in response, the Bravo name was used once more for the Stilo replacement in 2007.

The original Fiat Bravo/Brava was voted European Car of the Year upon its release. It had stylish looks - unusual for a family car - and a very economical engine.
