Warwick University was the venue of choice for the unveiling of the Tata Pixel concept mini - hardly an unusual choice when you consider that this UK university is where the car was originally designed.
The four-seater boasts of an usual statistic - a turning circle of 2.6 meters, and coupled with ‘scissor’ doors, is perfectly designed for city living.
Innovations are abound inside, too. Pratap Bose, head of design at Tata motoring said that ‘there are very few buttons, we have removed the technology and the machinery that takes up a lot of space and we have created space to fit four adults in the car.’
Nick Fell, director of the Tata Motors European Centre, said that ‘we plan to further increase out team on the campus by up to 100 over the next two years.
