Sales Non-force

Sales of electrical vehicles are still struggling, despite a hefty government grant, according to figures from the Society of Manufacturers and Traders.
There is worrying news for eco-heads with the revelation from the Society of Manufacturers and Traders that, even with a £5,000 government grant in the picture, sales of electrical vehicles are still low compared to their petrol-swilling counterparts – which have risen by 7.3% in terms of registrations this year.
Data shows that 812 electric models have been sold this year, with the majority of those being made up by the Nissan Leaf (499 sold). The Citroen C-Zero has only sold 21models for a point of comparison – and this grim figure is repeated across all makes and models.
