British car maker MINI has announced a special edition variant of their soft-top four-seater, named after the illustrious Highgate area of North London. It will be available this spring - just in time for the British Summer.
Named after the N6 neighbourhood of London, the new Mini Highgate will be available with four engine choices – two petrol and two diesel. This limited edition model will arrive with special colours and a new wheel design – the spoke arrangement apparently inspired by the Union Jack.
The new body colour is called Iced Chocolate Metallic, and along with the new soft-top colour and hood stripes, will have a blue tint – and the mirror caps will be painted to match. This design is reflected inside, with light blue piping setting off the shady interior of the Dark Truffle colour set and leather seating.
The price starts at £21,080 for the Cooper and rises to £25,830 for the automatic Cooper SD.
