Eurozone Crisis Affects Car Markets

The future for Western Europe's car market seems to be stagnation in a best case scenario rather than any real growth as consumer demand continues to fall.
Germany's new car registrations dropped somewhat by 0.4% in January, matching broader European trends as figures fell more dramatically in France and Italy – the former by 21% (with 147,143 cars delivered in January) and 16.9% in the latter's case (137,11).
However, Spain saw sales increase by 2.5% to 54,961, although this figure is still close to 17-year lows.
