And On, And On, And On...

To admire German engineering is something of a cliché, but we're going to do it anyway.
It appears that the above-mentioned boffins have developed a car that has broken all electric vehicle records by driving for 375 miles on a single charge.
While this may seem slightly underwhelming to some, considering that Japanese scientists have driven 600 miles around a track on a single charge, that vehicle was specially built for that purpose (the chassis acted as a battery) and could only fit one person inside. And we all know that NTSC has a faster refresh rate than European PAL anyway.
This German offering, however, takes the form of an otherwise completely normal Audi 4-seater A2, and was driven for the 375 miles at an average of 55 miles per hour. And they had the heating on.
Last year Germany announced that it would have 1 million battery-powered cars on the road by 2020. They're on their way there.
